Recipe for pizza capriciosi

Its name certainly reflects "Capricious" character, which is reflected in its appearance and combination of ingredients - hams, artichokes, mushrooms and olives. Pizza 4 season consists of the same ingredients, but there is a difference between them.

Subsequently, as is often the case with all capricious pizzas, they were adapted to the customs and traditions of the various territories where they were preparing. Ingredients can vary depending on the characteristics of the region. For example, in Sicily, in a famous seaside resort they prepare Capricioso with boiled eggs and mussels, black olives are often replaced by green olives. In the north, where you often see this pizza cook with sausage added chopped rings.

Pizza Capricciosa - the original recipe for cooking

Dough:

Form 4 balls of 250 grams for every 4 people

If you do not have experience in preparing the test and the subsequent leaven, see the previous article, which explains the procedure in detail step by step.

Ingredients:

  • salt and pepper;
  • 500 g of flour;
  • 1 packet of liquid yeast or 1 pack;
  • 250 ml of warm water;
  • olive oil 1 tablespoon;
  • 250 g of tomato pulp;
  • olives without pits;
  • artichokes;
  • 100 g of boiled ham;
  • 80 g of mozzarella cheese;
  • 1 hard-boiled egg;
  • Mushrooms in oil;

* To decorate a ready-made pizza, use buffalo mozzarella.

After the growth phase, we form the balls to get 4 tortillas from the dough. Roll to the correct thickness (very thinly) on a greased plaque, and spread it over with tomato sauce.

Put the tomatoes on the pizza, add the ham (not cubes, but thin, but wide slices), finely chop mushrooms, artichoke slices and 8-10 olives without pits. Mozzarella also cut into cubes. Add all the filling ingredients at the same time.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pizza for 20 minutes or until the edges are absolutely golden.

Useful tips: for Capriciosa, use very little tomato sauce. This should prevent the ingredients from "floating" at the peak. It is recommended that you wait a few minutes for the sauce to cool before serving your guests. Olives, used as an ingredient for pizza should be strictly pitted.
